Useful website: WarrantyElephant.com wants to help you remember something that’s easy to forget: all those details to support your potential warranty repair claims. Launched by a man who had to pay to repair his TV because he lost his warranty documentation, the site was initially created for a small circle of his family and friends. But now anyone can “Buy It, Save It, and Forget It.”

All you have to do is register for a free account. Then you add in a few bits of mandatory information about each product, including the manufacturer, purchase date and llength of the warranty. You also have the option to add more details, such as model number, warranty contact phone number or even a scanned copy of the warranty document. You can view your registered warranties at any point in list format, with color codes alerting you to  contracts that will soon expire.
