Q: Is the employment test difficult?
A: The test is not difficult, but it can be a bit tricky. The test measures basic skills include reading, following written instructions, basic math, and map reading. So it’s important to read the questions carefully and think before answering. If you don’t do as well as you expect, you can retake the test to improve your score. But you’ll have to re-register and bring your ID again the second time you take it. You can only take the test once a day.

Q: Is there a practice test?
A: Yes. You can access a practice test online on the home page at www.WestchesterCensus.com.
